Change to Waste Recycling Centres

You may not be aware that Norfolk County Council is changing how it runs its waste recycling centres and bringing in charges for the disposal of DIY waste.

From 1 April it will be charging for the disposal of all DIY waste by removing the concession which had seen people allowed to leave one large item or up to 80 litres of waste for free at their local household waste recycling centre.

This change means that NCC can make savings without reducing opening hours or closing a recycling centre. For more information visit
