    Felthorpe Parish Council, our County Councillor Tony Adams, and Norfolk County Council have all worked together to fund the resurfacing and white lining of the Pavilion car park.

    No more falling down rain-filled potholes!

    Have you been since it was completed? Hopefully you found it a lot easier to park if so!

  • Road Closure – Taverham Road

    Norfolk County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting Taverham Road from its junction with Reepham Road for 615m south-westwards in Felthorpe because of access to underground structure being required to facilitate cabling works.

    The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 09:30 and 15:30 on 16th November 2021 for the duration of the works.

  • Urgent Road Closure – Haveringland Road

    In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, Norfolk County Council have given notice that owing to Openreach works  the use by vehicles of Haveringland Road from 600m north of its junction with The Street for 250m northwards in the Felthorpe will be temporarily prohibited between 09:30 and 15:30 from 13th to 14th October 2021 for the duration of the works.

  • Temporary Closure of Byway

    Norfolk County Council have made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the Felthorpe Restricted Byway 10 from its junction with Haveringland Road for 500m westwards in Felthorpe because of to ensure public safety whilst resurfacing works take place.

    The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 18th October to 3rd December 2021 for the duration of the works expected to be about 47 days within the period.

    Due to a resignation Felthorpe Parish Council are looking for a motivated person to become a Parish Councillor.

    We would love to hear from you if you fit the following criteria and would like to make a real difference in your community.  Please contact the parish clerk in order to discuss further:

    You should consider becoming a parish or town councillor if:

    • You would like to do something positive for your community
    • You would like to spend your time productively
    • You can think, listen and act locally

    To become a councillor, you must satisfy the following criteria on the day you are co-opted:

    • be at least 18 years of age
    • be a British citizen, a qualifying citizen of a Commonwealth country, a citizen of the Irish Republic, or a citizen of another member state of the European Union

    You must also meet at least one of the four following qualifications on the day you are co-opted:

    • be registered as a local government elector for the local authority area in which you are standing
    • have occupied as an owner or a tenant any land or premises in the local authority area in which you are standing during the whole of the 12 months before the day you are nominated
    • have had your main or only place of work during the last 12 months in the local authority area in which you are standing
    • have lived in the local authority area in which you are standing during the whole of the last 12 months
  • Road Closure – Bilney Lane

    Norfolk County Council have made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting Bilney Lane from its junction with Church Lane for 200m eastwards in Felthorpe because of BT pole testing works.

    The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 09:30 and 15:30 on 19th August 2021 for the duration of the works.

  • Meet Your MP – 28 July 2021

    Jerome Mayhew MP will be carrying out visits to all of his villages next week to meet local residents.  He will be at the Pavilion in Felthorpe from 11am – 1130am on Wednesday 28 July.

    Pop along if you have any issues to raise with him.
